4x4 dodge bro brake checked me like 3 times on the interstate off ramp. I guess he didn’t like me getting closer to him when he brakes down to 15mph halfway down the off ramp. I did the wrong thing and stayed really close. I try to act not react but sometimes i just react without thinking. So he brake checked me 3 times and then accelerated each time so he could shoot sooty exhaust at me like and continued doing this as we got moving from the light through the intersection. Each time I could not see anything in front. He also flipped me off at one point in his display.

So I pulled into the gas station where I had planned on getting fuel, but before I fueled up I pulled out my phone and filed a smoking vehicle report.

It isn’t fair that I have to smog my car and diesels don’t and they can spew crap into the atmosphere and ruin visibility so they can look cool with crappily tuned motors and giant 10" exhaust that wobbles around.

I encourage everyone to find the website to report these cars in your county. We can help put an end to the polluting moronic diesel trucks. Above is the form for my county simply input the license number and description and other details and hit submit.

It’s awesome that such a form exists. At the same time, it really sucks that such a form has to exist.

Remember what my great grandma always said:

“Not all dickbags roll coal, but all coal rollers are dickbags.”

The other good thing about this form? Once caught, I’d wager half of them are also running red diesel.

Yes.

You can report smoking vehicles in Texas, but it requires the owner of the reported vehicle to DO NOTHING. So basically it just helps these idiots get confirmation that they’re pissing people off.

I’m all for states requiring smoking vehicles to report for emissions inspection.

hmm I had no idea. I was hoping they would get a warning in the mail or something and if reported again have to report to a DMV and have their registration revoked or something serious.
If my gasoline car doesn’t pass emissions I dont get to register and drive it!

I like your grandma does she make good cookies too? It makes me mad that these diesels can run around not meeting the same requirements of a gasoline car and I wonder how many people actually get caught using that farm diesel fuel.

agreed. It seems like cops should be pulling trucks over all the time for this, but something tells me its rare.

I was actually joking with my brother a day ago about how idiotic it is people get pulled over for things like ground effects lights being “unsafe” but nobody gives a shit about lifted trucks belching smoke and endangering every body on the road around them.

So something I discovered is that utah doesn’t do diesel emissions, because they can’t agree on a method. Pisses me of too

She’s been gone a while, but yes. Good cookies, lots of swearing.

Those trucks make me angry as well. The pollution for one, but on a professional level, I hate the term rolling coal. I’ll let you guess why.

I thought UT was a CARB state? I thought there was at least a soot sight test?

Woah, hang on. This is an American problem. Australia, Europe, Japan don’t have big trucks and they don’t have a huge problem with douchebags rolling coal . They drive reasonable cars in a reasonable fashion.

I saw a dually the other day. Shocked and appalled.

Like running to teacher screaming “I’m tellllllling!”?

I think rolling coal and bro trucks are lame too, but c'mon...

Why is running to teacher a bad idea? He/She is the authority is an adult and the one who can issue out justice and discipline.

Kids who run to the teacher become adults who run to the government. Which is why we live in a country where people demand that the government protect us, provide for us and outlaw things we don’t like. Kids who run to the teacher become “adults” who use terms like “micro-aggression” and “safe place”. There’s a website for reporting coal rollers, which is probably used regularly, but the people who use it are likely the same people who demand that I share the road with bicyclists who don’t follow the rules of the aforementioned road. I just don’t agree with the whole concept of demanding that the government create a law every time they find something distasteful, disagreeable or scary. People who ran to teacher are now those people.

Polluting the air and blocking visibility on the road is not only distasteful disagreeable or scary but illegal and like I said polluting the air the rest of us breathe.

I think you are oversimplifying and putting your ideas onto me. I dont see anything wrong with calling the police to report crimes or talking to the teacher.
